If the TV was in tune in the previouws room then it will not need to be retuned. If your amp is the type you plug the other end of the cable from the socket into, not hard wired, then try another output.

When running the SWA cable to the shed. Does it need to be 2 or 3 core? in 2 core can you use the screen as the earth?

Thanks for your reply. If i run a supply to the shed is it best to have that protected or not? I would be thinking of having an RCD in the shed too.
