tony thanks for the answer, my mate is a pipe fitter so he replaced all the pipework in the house before the boiler was fitted so unlikely to be a dirty system, sorry not sure what you mean about the price cheers bill

hi guys my mate bought one of the above about 6 yrs ago and the h/e has just gone, worcs reckon £500 to replace, surely ther must have been something wrong with this for it to go so quickly. any comments thanks a lot Bill

if they make a recommendation and we dont carry it out does that invalidate the warranty on the boiler?

Dan, thanks for the reply albeit brief, we have had british gas out to service moms boiler...only installed about 12 months and they have given an advisory notice that the boiler is not to current standard because of this pipe, however the installer reckons that because the pipe is 1.1/4" it...

is it right that if you have an 1.1/4" overflow pipe fitted you dont have to lag it cheers guys

my sister has one of these that isnt getting cold enough, a guy came out to have a look and charged her £80 callout then told her he would nedd to get a software engineer out to look at it, is this right , what kind of software is on a fridge? thanks Bill

hi guys, put this here as i didnt know where to put it. i have a macallister 3 pressure washer from b&q, good washer trouble is the dirtbuster lance has packed up and i am having trouble finding a replacement, they (b&q) dont stock them, i can find other lances around on ebay etc but not sure...

hi guys, ive now laid my patio and have to point the joints, a friend of mine has recently had a patio done and i noticed the other day that the jointing compo seems to be shrinking, thats the only way i can describe it, there is a very slight gap between the edge of the slabs and the compo...

need some pavers with a slight angle at one end to edge some slabs that i have put down, ive been told they are called "k1" can anyone help me identify them please thanks Bill

hi guys i have laid some slabs and am nearly at the pointing stage, i would like to grout them a buff colour to match the slabs, any advice on how to get the colour to match and what product is the best to achieve this. thanks Bill

sorry just realised that that might sound a bit disrespectful wasnt meant to be i appreciate your answer just wondered if that method might work as my slabs are the same size and it is just for light foot traffic.

thanks for the reply the slabs are natural stone 450mm sq, i guess from your answer i need to lay them on a mortar mix then?
