    Hi, I own an old house which unfortunatley has very bad walls. I was wondering what is the best compund to use to fill holes made when plaster cracks and falls off. Also how do i get the filled area smooth and level with the existing walls :oops: Any help is nuch appreciated.

    Hi, I've had a plasterer in last week to look at re-skimming a room. The room is 12*12 with a chimney breast at on side of the room. He has quoted £200 to do this job. Does this sound excessive to anyone. I was told it should cost about half of that. Any help would be appreciated. :?

    Secure wood to a tiled floor.

    T&G natural wooden flooring. However it is moving about a bit too much and due to the wood being beveled or not totally flat in places it is proving difficult to lay. If I was to drill into the tiles what kind of drill bit would I need to use :?

    Hi could anyone help. My home has a single story extension. The walls which connect the extension to the main part of the house keep cracking. I have dug the cracks out several times and refilled, but after 3/4 months the crack reappears. Any ideas on why this would happen??
