    Pyronix Enforcer WiFi Issues

Thanks both. My subscription had ended a couple of months ago but I renewed it. The resetting of the system seems to have worked a treat! I'm now reconnected and can use the app properly. I did forget that alarms have an anti tampering feature and frightened the life out of my better half lol

    Pyronix Enforcer WiFi Issues

This is going to sound stupid but how do I do that? There's a fused switch next to it but turning that off doesn't do anything Edit, the warning led is now flashing orange

    Pyronix Enforcer WiFi Issues

@MisterG81 just tried with a mobile hotspot from my phone and still nothing. If I do a hard reset does that mean I have to go through the entire set up again with new alarm code and users?

    Pyronix Enforcer WiFi Issues

Hi, thanks for the reply. Funnily enough I found an old thread referencing issues with 5g and channels. I've since changed the wifi settings to 2.4ghz only and stuck it on manual channel 6. Still no luck. There appears to be an issue with the wifi in the panel itself. I'll go and try with a...

    Pyronix Enforcer WiFi Issues

Hi all, I'm having problems with my Pyronix Enforcer connecting to the wifi, I've gone through all manuals and instructional videos and I'm coming up short. We have Virgin broadband but I have a BT Whole Home system which takes over wifi duties. The system was working OK but has been...

What's this and can I remove it?

Thank you, presumably for a proper job it will need bricking up?

What's this and can I remove it?

Hi all, We moved in to a house last year which did have a gas fire in, it has since been removed. On the external wall there is this, which I assume is something to do with the old fire. There is sometimes a bit of a draft from the wall inside and I'm wondering if it can be removed and...

External light wiring (old pond electrics)

Thanks both, so either or is acceptable. I'll have a think about which is easier. I'll need to change the existing junction box as it's a bit manky.

External light wiring (old pond electrics)

Hi, thanks for the reply. Do you mean get the light and change it at the light itself? I've had a look at lights online and the most they come with is around 1.5m some are 30cm.

External light wiring (old pond electrics)

Hi all, I'd like to add a pir security light on the side of the house and wondering the best way to wire it. There is an electric feed that's going outside already from the conservatory to an outside junction box. This is being fed to the pond but it's now not being used and we have no...

Rapid 32 Boiler - Pressure Gauge Broken?

That's the first step, he's coming back at some point next week, hopefully soon.

Rapid 32 Boiler - Pressure Gauge Broken?

Ahh right, with you. Presumably the plumber will have noticed that originally. Also, he says he fully commissioned the system before leaving. He capped the pipes where the rads were removed (x2) and fitted a new rad. He then re pressurised the system, left it for a while and when he came back...

Rapid 32 Boiler - Pressure Gauge Broken?

Ahh right, I've not actually seen any water coming out of the system?

Rapid 32 Boiler - Pressure Gauge Broken?

System water from where? I've contacted the builder who arranged the plumber and he's arranging for him to come back as soon as possible this week.

Rapid 32 Boiler - Pressure Gauge Broken?

Sorry I didn't reply to your post. The plumber turned the pipes off to check if the issue lay in the boiler or not. I opened them up yesterday to test our Nest thermostat installation and the pressure dropped instantly.

I think my anxiety is being increased by our new baby girl! I want the house to be warm enough for her and my other half! Plus having a child has made me far more of a worrier!

Rapid 32 Boiler - Pressure Gauge Broken?

What are you going to do? I wonder if house insurance would cover it? I would doubt it if it's been caused by building work. I'm still waiting for the original plumber to come back and see what they think. Has anyone had any experience of leak sealer?
