    Breeze Blocks and Fasteners

Yes, I have it in mind to stick some Thomson Waterseal on the interior walls. Rockwool - hopefully cheaper than the Kingspan I was going to buy! So: Breeze Block Water Sealant Rockwool Vapour Barrier? OSB3

    Breeze Blocks and Fasteners

Hi Johnny, thanks for the advice. The shed is for woodworking so I'll probably be spending a good few hours in there and six days a week. It rarely drops below 9 degrees and after about 10mins at the workbench, I'm usually warm enough that I have to remove my hoodies. That said I definitely...

Using Oil Radiators to Heat Shed/Outbuilding

I'll be insulating the walls when it gets warmer. Hopefully, when winter comes around again, I'll be ok with any oil radiator.

    Breeze Blocks and Fasteners

I'm going to use OSB over studwork but I'm not unsure about where the gaps should be. Is this set up going to work? If the walls start rotting I'm going to cry (the green strip is a vapour barrier). In case it's important, I will be dealing with the humidity using a dehumidifier (desiccant)...

Using Oil Radiators to Heat Shed/Outbuilding

My shed is single skin breeze block and measures 6m x 5m (30sqm) with insulation in the roof (doing walls next year). I bought an oil radiator for £60 and had to send it back because the timer wouldn't work. Quite apart from that though, it was pretty poor in heating up the place. Even though...

    OSB on Interior Walls

Thanks Catlad. Any idea how long the screws need to be to fasten the studwork to the breeze blocks? I'll be looking to hang shelves, tool cabinets and other things but I don't want to use the OSB for that; I'll be fastening them to the studwork itself. If that's the correct way to go about it...

    OSB on Interior Walls

Does anyone know a good site that explains how to fix OSB over Kingspan over breeze block interior walls? This is the set up I'm considering: But I'm not sure about dimensions for studs, gaps between studs, stud thickness, that kind of thing. Thank you.

    What glue should I use?

Funny you should mention this as only the other day we had driving rain and I was thinking the vents might not be enough to keep it out.

    Breeze Blocks and Fasteners

Done a bit of research and unless I'm mistaken, I can use ordinary wood screws when drilling with wall plugs into breeze block?

    Breeze Blocks and Fasteners

Hi all I'm looking to affix shelves, cabinets, tool racks, lumber racks, etc in my shed but I'm not sure which plugs/screws to use. It's a single skin breeze block shed and I'd like to make sure everything is fixed solidly. I'm probably overthinking this, but I am new to this kind of thing...

    What glue should I use?

Is there a particular brand of clear external silicone glue I should buy? I'm not sure. For example, I was thinking of this: www.screwfix.com/p/geocel-the-works-sealant-adhesive-clear-290ml/92565

    What glue should I use?

Maybe, but your reply was appreciated, and it taught me something about venting as well :)

    What glue should I use?

Hi Ken, The vents (either side) are to facilitate airflow into the roof of my shed so as to prevent build-up of condensation.

    What glue should I use?

Hi all I'm looking to glue the plastic vents in the link below to an unpainted fibreglass surface. www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00JVC5V34/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Is there a particular type of glue I should use? Needs to withstand the weather all year round. Thanks all.
