    Removing conifers?

    pulled mine out with a ford fiesta i paid £50 for, then scrapped it. pulled a hedge row and 2 x conifer roots in a few hours. If you haven't started making a nice garden yet and have access then go for it, its excellent fun. :D

    for me ( im only a DIYer) it would depend on the foundation under the patio slabs regarding roots more than wieght. if i was building a bedding section and fillling with earth i would worry it would encourage roots from under the patios to grow through causing possible damage to slabs, have...

    as you get to the bottom of the hole, if you have kept it relatively narrow its a pain to get the remaining earth out. My soup ladel was perfect it bent to any angel and sat in the palm of my hand, just like a mini digger. its now banished from the kitchen and unblocks drains :D

    lol i did i chopped it in half you can cut anything away over your side. it was a jungle they got rid of some and stated " im not cutting that tree" so i did. daft realy all they had to do was a decent trim off my land and i wouldnt have bothered, just plain awkward...

    Wet hands yeap i see that now. Inside pulley my bathroom is really small, the length of a bath and 6 ft wide. So it is all look so messy and clustered. I have already removed the shower pulley as re wiring and it made so much difference when it was out that i have purchased a 45 amp neon...

    If you had the choice and for safety, which would you rate as the best. A shower switch 45 amp on the outside of the bathroom and the light switch out side the bathroom. Or both inside on string pulled switches and why? many thanks OJ
