Rads only heating at the top.

I did do it as the rads on the 1st floor had closed TRVs but the 2nd floor rads remained cold until I set the pump to run continuously.

Rads only heating at the top.

All of the other rads on the system perform well. It was just the highest rads on the 2nd floor which I had an issue with. It seems that a continuously running pump has solved the problem.

Rads only heating at the top.

The TRVs on the 1st floor are set to '1' and have closed due to the room being at the required temperature. Per post #5, the troublesome rads on the 2nd floor are now performing better. Going to CC3 made 2 of the rads hot all the way down and seems to be the solution. The other cold rad is...

Rads only heating at the top.

There are 4 rads on the 1st floor that have the trvs turned right down and the rads are cold.

Rads only heating at the top.

The PDF for the pump is here. I had a quick read of it before posting and I could see that whilst the pump was set to the highest setting (yellow), the indicator was flashing meaning the flow was being regulated. I set the pump to unregulated (indicator on permenantly) and 2 of the rads are now...

Rads only heating at the top.

H Thanks for the reply. Please see the attached photo. There are 16 rads and it's a sealed system which also heats the hot water.

Rads only heating at the top.

We've got an old Georgian house that has a system operating rads on 4 floors. The LG is 2.6m from the GF where the boiler and pump is located. There are 2 more floors staggered over 4m (see attached). We've not been there long but we've noticed that the 3 rads on the 2nd floor only get hot at...

    Dulux Satinwood paint reacting!

We're using Dulux Satinwood paint for metal and wood. It's the water based one and not the solvent based variety. It seems to react with the paint beneath it especially on factory primed MDF. I think we're going to change what paint we're using so I'm looking for recommendations. We used to use...

Does anyone recognise this door type

Hi, I've recently moved into a place that has what looks to me like a kind of door kit that includes lining, architrave, hinges, locks and of course the door. I need to replace one but don't know what to look for. Does anyone recognise it and can point me in the right direction?

    Bosch Dishwasher E02 error

I guess I could as it's bound to be some kind of transistor driving the relay. Trouble is, we had to do the dishes handraulicly this evening so i'm not sure that the other half will wait any length of time. I might just have another quick look at the PCB to see if I can see a transistor though...

    Bosch Dishwasher E02 error

I just found the correct part on the Bosch website https://www.bosch-home.co.uk/store/12015029 but it costs too much to make an economical repair. I might have risked it for 50 quid but not for £111. The dishwasher is 4 or 5 years old so I guess it's time for a new one.

    Bosch Dishwasher E02 error

Yeah I googled EPG70002 too but I am unsure as to what the 9001 140 272 code means as other EPG70002 units have different codes. I'm worried that its the same board with different firmware.

    Bosch Dishwasher E02 error

Thanks. I'm pretty sure that the heat pump has no mains because it has to go through those relays. I'm not so sure about the thermistor though I think I would see an E11 fault if the thermistor was faulty. Shame because it's a decent dishwasher and I can't find a replacement PCB.

    Bosch Dishwasher E02 error

I have a Bosch Dishwasher Serie 4 (SMS50C26UK/D3) that is showing E02. According to this website E02 is a Heater Relay fault. I have removed the computer from the appliance and removed the relays (there are two) from the PCB and tested them out of circuit to ensure they operate correctly. They...

Vent stack and soil arrangement on extension

The shared drain does but i'm talking about the pipe running up to the property.

Vent stack and soil arrangement on extension

I was assuming that the current drain runs up the centre of the garden perpendicular to the property therefore the inspection chamber is now off to one side.

Vent stack and soil arrangement on extension

I'll probably have to provide a soakaway for the rainwater then. I might put a short stack in the WC (over the handbasin height) with an AAV to connect branches to for grey water. I don't know of an alternative for the kitchen gully as the sink will be located under the window and the trap will...
