Right here goes... Basically we have a Baxi Solo 2 (50 RS?) fitted in the house since new (approx 18yrs?) Also have a huge hot water cylinder that has leaks on fittings to it. Was quoted nearly £1000 to replace tank - think it is called a thermal store... Also not getting great hot water...

WEll got 2 'quotes' tonight and both said... 1) Try to redo pipe work - may work may not - new tank if not 2) New tank straight off - £500-1000 3) New combi boioler £2000 -2300 Ouch! Think I may get some sealent out! :(
