Yes the black part is PVC. It's a 90 or 135. we can only see a very small part of it.
Our new toilet location is further away from the clay pipe than the present location so we need to connect directly into the clay pipe to get the constant angle we need for flow.
As shown the clay Y junction...
Shown connection to clay waste coming in at steep angle from toilet directly behind wall.
We are moving toilet further away from the wall and so need shallower angle of connection all the way to clay pipe to get steady drop over the distance.
We are not using a mascerator because of sanitary...
Danfoss SET1E heating timer, it is showing red LED light but LCD is blank for all positions of grey switch on the right, it shows nothing.
Does not appear to have reset button underneath.
Ideas how to get LCD showing again/ or a fix.
It's a old dg unit and embedded in a wooden frame.
Eventually it's all getting replaced for upvc.
It's a largish window. No measure tape to hand, i'm not there just now.
Do you know what the glue is called?
In essence you squeeze it on, the crack soaks it up and you remove excess with a...
Thank you for your obvious contribution, but it is of no help.
At the moment replacement is not possible due to cost.
It's going to get replaced eventually, is stable, and I am looking for interim structural and asthetic glue that the crack will soak up.
I have definatley heard of something...
I have a window with a crack that ran years ago when the wooden frame expanded a little and I had to force the window to close it. It's never run any more and there is no shelling.
Is there any fluid/ glue I can put into this to asthetically remove the visual effect of the crack and bond it.
Also could carefully prise board up with screw driver and foam into there without cutting small hole.
Would have to guage foam quantity carefully, and place heavy weight on top to limit ant foam expansion.
I will have to check but if this board runs to the door might be able to slide the board...
Laminate floor board springs up and down.
I did not fit it and have no idea who did.
Cannot realistically lift floor from edges to support underneath as out of time.
I think either the board was butted wrong way round without tounge into groove, ie slotted in wrong way, or groove has collapsed...
They are unpainted stone and are more or less black. No natural light in there and no windows. After some strong lighting is up i am going to scrub down the walls then white wash them so that light reflects better.
More info: the space is just a black black space really. No windows and no natural day light. I'm going to scrub the stone walls down and white wash them just so the lights I do hang/ use don't just get sucked up by the blackness in there.
Great ideas on the lights.
I like the Surface mount...
We have a stable with no windows and it is a black black space, becasue ever with the single light on it is still dark. We are going to be doing lots of works in there so need to get it well lit.
Dimensions are 5.4m x 3.55m.
We can string lighting across the whole of the 5.4m dimension...
Photo shows whats happened.
Tar felt is still intact and not cracked.
I haven't a big flame thrower to heat it all up and put it back.
How can I fix this without getting it re-done?
Anything that gets it satifcfactorly repaired and watertight will do.
im finding reclaimed 1.2 m x 2.4 m x 100mm insulation boards online for £29.
it's too expensive.
Does anyone know a supplier or an equivalent technology to kingspan that is less.
Has anyone tried blowing their own closed cell (waterproof) foam and do you know where I could get it.
still...
The heating is still working as expected.
Can't tell if the radiators are slightly less hot than normal becasue each time I check them the set house temperature has already been reached.
It seems the system is delivering the same amount of heat as before.
