Are you talking about removing the access panel? There isn't any other cover or frame?

Yeah there's both a hot and cold connection.srhawksy that makes sense! So in the past before I had instant hot water via the combi,when I didn't have any hot water(which was often)and did a washing was the washing machine not getting any hot water at all? I thought the washing machine heated...
