Hi I have a very old Halstead Balmoral 45F and it has broken down He has fitted a new pcb but says I need a new pilot solenoid valve which is apparently obsolete. Please does anyone know where I may get or one or if there is another part that is interchangeable? Thanks a lot Ruth

yes, it was the same guy :) we got a leak on our flat roof and water got into the boiler hence the fuses blowing

All he wrote on the job sheet is hole in flue behind boiler

I did complain to BG on Friday and the Service manager has called me twice today to say they will try and search the net for a flue and also the original engineer has been round again today ( just to show me a diagram of a flue on his laptop) so I dont know if that indicates that they know...

Thanks I would think there is genuinely a hole now with the force he hit it with the screwdriver for a good 5 mins but may be worth doing anyway
