Hi further to my last comment the boiler seems to come on for a few minutes then goes off even though timer is on constant.

Thanks it all worked fine till this morning. The boiler seems to sometimes start up and sometimes not the timmer seems ok, is there anything else you can suggest?

Ive attached a picture of the backplate. Is it just a case of touching the wire in L into one of the other terminals? If it fires up how do i switc h it off?

Hi Kev, I was looking to do a flush as well and possibly add a magna clean. Is it good to also take off each rad and flush the inside out with a hose to make sure it is really clean?

I really can't afford the the additional cost of a 2 pipe system. I can just about stretch to the boiler, but dont want to just put a boiler in if it means the heating system isnt going to better than the floor standing system one I have now.
