    Water feed to Combi

Is it ok to turn off the water feed into the house (need to for another job). If I do this should I shut down/turn power off to the Combi? Also am I likely to cause a problem or airlock when starting it up again?

However during another visit/quotation the guy said it that although it cannot be totally removed it could...

    Wall Sockets

    Why has Engineer done this!!

No they should not do anything off their own back, some customers don't want to pay for extras they never asked for!?????

    Why has Engineer done this!!

The 15mm gas pipe was nothing to do with the 22mm gas pipe to the Boiler and would not have impacted on the new installation because the existing/old Boiler was connected and working. One did not affect the other

    Why has Engineer done this!!

When I had the gas pipe cut back it was because it was no longer required (permanently). It was about 6 inches, and cut as near as possible to the Ceiling as it was tight to the wall to cap off. Also at that time I had not planned to change the Boiler/Heating system. The two events are totally...

    Why has Engineer done this!!

I have had my old Heating system changed to a combi. The new Boiler is in exactly the same place with all feeds coming in through top. Two months ago I paid an Engineer £70 to reduce the old Gas Cooker pipe and cap off (in kitchen, not the loft). This piece of 6 inch pipe would of eventually...
