Pop-up/Sprung Sink Plug

I need to buy one of these before the Plumber turns up Wednesday. Can anyone tell me if these type of plugs are suitable to fit onto a traditional ubend or have I got to get anything else? And what's the difference between slotted and un slotted? Thanks

You are getting mixed up with a sink and basin.

Sorry, unaware that slotted and un-slotted only referred to Basins I was looking at 42894 & 2675V Screwfix. What do you think?
