    Water supply to Combi

I want to have a Combi installed and I want it on the wall next to sink. This way both outlets (Ventilation and Condensate) can go out through wall but my question concerns the water supply; can the water feed come from under the sink off the other pipes which are obviously the sink supply taps...

    What Size Boiler?

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate all the responses I obviously do not want to lay out for a Boiler that would serve a 3 bed 7 rad house. Perhaps I should have said that in the beginning!

    Cracked Pebbledash

Well one guy has suggested traditional sand/cement mix with waterproof additive, two layers with mesh inbetween and a drip bead. I have looked into the various types of Render and it would seem non are guaranteed from cracking. The current PB has already got some noticeable repairs just smooth...

Yes? Your reasons for asking would be appreciated as when chasing quotes this has not been queried and not even by a surveyor?

Is it neccesary to repair cracks on Pebbledash if I intend to have the whole thing Rendered ? Is there any advantage to this or would it be a waste of money?

    Blocking up Lofthatch

The Loft Hatch in this very old property I have bought is about 14 inches square!!!. The loft is insulated and I do not have any possessions to put up there so I am thinking of boarding it up and plastering over it. Note also it is now visible in the extended sitting room but used to be in what...

The previous owners here have cut a gulley in the concrete that was up against the build. It is 3 inches wide by about 6ft long and they have filled it with shingle to assist drainage. On the inside of my property on both walls either side of this rogue corner there is damp coming up from the...

    Sub Floor Joist Renewal

What I find baffling is that the attached property is on the same flat level as I am, has the same drains and guttering etc, and does not have any issues, there is no history of drain leaks, the drains all run clear and yet the issue of damp which is on one corner but spreading is being...

    Sub Floor Joist Renewal

Ok Thanks. I thought someone on here may have had this done but I suppose every job is different and we won't know what is needed till the Boards come up. There has been a water/damp issue and floors are sloped and moving. Subsidence has been ruled out.
