That is one of two of the only problems I have with it. It does weigh a tonne but then again it does make the saw very stable. My other problem with it is the dust collection bag is pretty much just really there for show! :) It still doesnt make as much mess as the router though :P .

Thanks Dewy As I said I'm a firm believer in going for the highest quality one's budget can afford. Many years ago I realised that not only was it a false economy in terms of longevity but some tools noticably circular saws actually make a complete mess of things not to mention the safety...

Having recently joined the Router owning ranks DW626 (see earlier thread) I've now seen the light. I've now convinced my self I need a router table. Any suggestions? What should I look out for? I'll be using it to fabricate window frames and kitchen door fronts initially.
