Ok i need to take the bath room out to have it all re plastered . Im going to take the sink out later to get the tiles off behind. i was going to cut the pipes with a pipe cutter and stick a speed fit stop end on ? is this wise or should i get a compression end ?

Going to sort round the windows in our house its a 1880s Mid terrace with upvc windows. Do i strip the old silicone off and the paint then reapply the silicone Or do i strip the old silicone off use caulking then paint the job lot ? your help would be much appreciated ?
