Ok i need to take the bath room out to have it all re plastered .

Im going to take the sink out later to get the tiles off behind.

i was going to cut the pipes with a pipe cutter and stick a speed fit stop end on ?

is this wise or should i get a compression end ?

Speedfit's perfect for that. Speedfit iso vlaves if you want to be posh, then you can control the pipeful of water which you'll be letting out.
