I know that they are trade only, but how much attention & checks do they do if you go in with headed company paper, it's just that I'm building a new shed but money is really tight & they are a fair bit cheaper than a general DIY place?

I've never hung a door before but our existing fitted doors are 2010mm x 823 but the closest I can find are 2040 x 826, now 826 shaved down 3mm to 823 no problem i would've thought but i'm worried about removing the 30mm(15mm top & 15mm bottom) to get it down from 2040 to 2010 as I was looking...
