    Front garden permanent boundary

I thought of something similar. But they said it had to be attached to the floor. Like a wall or a fence panel. I'd much rather buy a giant Rock that no one could move. That would look much better also.

    Front garden permanent boundary

Hi, I've been told I need to put a permanent boundary at the front of my garden. To stop people driving on the pavement. What's the easiest thing to do, build a simple small brick pillar that is 30cm high, or dug a hole and put a fence panel with a concrete foundation in? I've not done either...

Wiring up a Thermostat to Boiler

Hi, The model is a Drayton MiTime RF T710R. Sorry, I should have been clearer. Yes, I've bought a wireless room thermostat to replace my old one. I've trying to unscrew my old receiver, and put the new receiver on. The old receiver had N/O and Com. The new receiver has COM, On, and off. There...

    Thermostat Wireless

That's helpful. basically he was saying I need to buy one that you don't need to open up the front of the boiler for. just take off the plug to the power cable and wire it up using that. sounds like all of them will do the trick. I was hoping to install a wireless thermostat myself without...

Painting External Garden Room Walls with Fire Paint

Yes and yes. It's small enough to not need planning permission. But needs to comply with Building regs. Which means the walls need to be painted with fire paint before they're inspected. I just could do with a bit of advice on what's a good fire paint!

    Adding Breakfast Bar to Kitchen

Brilliant. I will get someone in to do it. Thanks for the advice. Even if I think it looks ok, my wife will likely hate it if it's not perfect. That's not worth it! Thank you

    Adding Breakfast Bar to Kitchen

Hi, We just moved into a new house, and the kitchen has recently (last 6 months) been installed. It looks good, but the only issue is there isn't much worktop to work on! The main unit spans the length of our kitchen (north side), and then there is nothing else. There is just an empty wall on...

Biasi Boiler Leaking with Diverter Valve problems

Hi Tony, That's really helpful. I could really do with it costing around that much. I just need to find someone reliable to do it. I sent a message to a plumber near by to get some quotes and he said (from the description) it didn't sound like it was the diverter valve. Which is confusing. When...
