    my laptop restart itself

Could be a heat issue, I know some motherboards will shut themselves down if they are getting too hot, if you have completely formatted the laptop and re-installed XP and it still does it then it's gotta be a hardware fault. Get it looked at, at a PC repair shop.

    Netgear Ethernet Connention Problem

When you plug the laptop in do you use a different cable ? Could be that you are using a crossover cable instead of a straight through. Do you have DHCP enabled on the PC you are using, you should be able to find it by clicking on the network connection, clicking propeties, then clicking TCP/IP...

    Drilling deep holes in brickwork

To be honest they all vary, I'm 99% sure I've managed to pull a connector though before, it can be a bit of a tight fit, you should be able to wiggle the drill around abit to widen out the hole slightly. I've heard people have had successes in the past with chopping a HDMI cable in half and...

    Smoke alarms

They are Ionization ones, if it is the Costco ones you are looking at, they also let you know when the 10year battery is running out by chirping every 45seconds !! Seem a little sensitive at times but that can only be a good thing given my flat mates cooking !! :P

    led tv

LED just defines the backlight type, it replaces an older style of backlighting, some people prefer LED backlighting but it is not for me. Could be lots of problems in all honest causing the issue you describe, does your set have a 100hz mode or something similar ? Try turning that on, it can...

    Recomendations for CH Programmers

After a bit more googling I think I may have sorted out my confusion, that said I'd still like suggestions. I think I was looking at programmable thermostats, and what I had installed in my old place was actually just a timeswitch. I'm guessing I would be ok just getting another timeswitch, I...
