So I am trying to tile around my kitchen window. After my first attempt using a Mapi Tile & Grout product, I have decided to start again as half the tiles still completely loose overnight. I suspect maybe I did not use enough adhesive (or this stuff is rubbish like the guy in the sticky says)...

My tiles are white and ceramic most of the DIY places have sold out of white adhesive they only sell grey. I already have some white grout. But if the adhesive is under the tile why does colour even matter?

Thanks, it is also where grass and weeds grow at the side of my driveway. I live in a mid-terraced house with fences either side of my blocked direway. Both tend to attract grass and weeds wondered if I could put some kind of membrane down with some stones?
