    NPT to BSP adaptor?

Trying to adapt an NPT 3/4" male thread to BSP for a water connection. While there are numerous adaptors in the marketplace, I understand NPT threads are typically tapered. The one I want to connect to uses a parallel thread and needs sealing by a rubber washer. Any ideas where it could be...

Duravit mixer basin tap - 35mm hole?

Anyone ever fitted a Duravit Monobloc basin mixer tap? The hole in the basin is 35mm which I assumed was standard. The tap's base has a diameter of 46mm but the rubber washer they provide with it makes no contact with the porcelain when affixing. The metal base does. Solutions?

Chipped tile edges - I know it's been asked before!

Hi All, I did a search before on here but still can't get a resolve. Porcelain plank style tiles. When using my small wetsaw the edges leave tiny chips on the finish. Doesn't matter if the tile is up down etc. Tried a new blade that claims to be thinner and gives clean cuts. Same issue. Using a...

Hi All, As title, got a fascia board on the house which was installed as two boards. Where they meet obviously leaves a crack over time regardless of using filler etc. Is there a way to tie the two boards together in situ? Like maybe some kind of clip that can be embedded across them? Cheers

    Bonding on metal stopcock?

Hi All, Had an EICR test done. Few things failed which I understand fine. However, the guy inspecting also said I need to make an earth bonding to a metal stopcock that has plastic pipe either side. This is the mains water stopcock coming from a mains plastic pipe. Is this the case? Thanks.

    UPVC Multi-Point Lock....help

Hi All, Back after a long while. Have a multi-point lock on a front UPVC door. It's an unusual system where you turn the key itself several times to move the multi-point system instead of lifting the handle. When opening the door from the inside with the handle it's no problem at all on the...

    MK RCBO tripping

Hi Everyone, I'm helping out an elderly relative where this RCBO keeps tripping. It's a MK 7932s Regardless of whether all items it supplies are on or off it will either stay on for about 5 mins and then trip...or just trip immediately. So I'm assuming it's a fault with the RCBO itself? I've...

Ideal Isar - water leaking, likely condensate.

Hi All, Ideal Isar. Water leaking but boiler pressure fine. Water pooling in chassis tray below main HE. When feeling at the back of the burner cover ledge it is also wet. I'm familiar with the traps getting blocked but that is certainly clear and very little water comes through condensate...
