    Hello My whirlpool awm 5145/5 will go through a cycle but not spin. The drum is still full of water so I think the problem is the pump is not coming on to drain the drum. The pipes are clear and the pump is ok any ideas?

    The two core flex is probably a thermistor which should be incorporated into the stop circuit. It's purpose is to stop the motor if it overheats.

    They are Ellison breakers. The one's in the picture were just a few of dozens in the textile mill I used to work in. It closed in 2004 and all the switch gear was scrapped a couple of years ago, there was some nice old stuff. Some more for the history buffs.

There were two sealers mentioned on the instruction sheet but I coudn't get them.The Coram instructions on the tray said 794 was the one to use for the waste area as did the Mcalpine waste instructions.     Thanks for that but a neutral cure silicon was specified as a acetoxy cure sealer would cause cracking to the surface of the tray.
