Covering horrid shower tiles with PVC panels

Thanks for the suggestion, but you know my missus wont let up till she gets something new in there. I've been looking at tile panels, instead of pvc. Really expensive though.

Covering horrid shower tiles with PVC panels

The tiles in our shower cubical are fine but the grout needs constant attention to keep it clean. I have tried removing the grout but it is very hard and wont budge. Does anyone have experience of gluing PVC panels onto existing tiles ? Thx

Proving very difficult to get a plumber

One of the technical issues is getting a drain for the condensate. It will mean going outside, round a wall and back inside. I asked about using a non condensing boiler, but have been told these are not allowed / advised these days. Can somebody confirm this is the case please.... just am...

Proving very difficult to get a plumber

Thx Tonybouy for the advice and link. Since I dont know much about the different makes of boiler what is the current favourite make. Also I have been reading about power flushing. Is this something that a new installed system should have done as standard. Should I expect it to be done...

Proving very difficult to get a plumber

It's come to something when you have to show a tradesman your cv so he can decide if he wants to work for you. If you must know when I tried signing up to this forum it took me many attempts before finding a username that had not already been taken. The username I have was not my first...

Proving very difficult to get a plumber

Ok glad to see not all members on here are unfriendly. Thanks to those with more positive comments. Proving very difficult to get a plumber

What a strange forum. You come on seeking advice and get abused by obviously very clever people who sound as though they have nothing else to do. Can anyone advise me how to un-register from these muppets.

Proving very difficult to get a plumber

Proving very difficult to get a plumber

Hmm.. ic. Well I ask them what they think of the job and they usually say it's straight forward and not difficult. So I don't know of any difficulties with the job. Nobody has pointed out anything unusual, so I can only assume there are none. What would make me a bad risk. I have the cash...

Proving very difficult to get a plumber

I have been trying now for months to find a plumber to install CH. The job doesn't appear too difficult to me, there are one or 2 small problems. Looking for a new install, combi boiler, 8 radiators, upstairs/downstairs. Plumbers come, measure up and go, and thats the last I hear from them...
