i want to change my tprv on a megaflow cylinder, can anyone tell me the quickest way to drain water from the cylinder so i can remove the old valve and replace with new one ? thanks

i have a small leak in one of the pipes coming from my boiler, i may have to loosen the fitting to put tape or boss white on it, if i loosen the nut it will still have water in it so how will i drain the water from the pipe to repair it ??? thanks ps its a combi boiler

Hi can anyone give the correct answer here? i have been having problems with my heating and an engineer came in and closed the bypass valve at the megaflow tank next to my pump, should this valve always be closed or should it be opened up again, if opened will i lose pressure ? thanks

i have a worcester boiler and at night it seems to be leaking when in the off position as when we get up there are drips coming from inside the casing but to high up to see exactly were, there is no drop in ppressure though, has anyone any ideas what this might be ?? thanks

yes sure about the pin, but i put a new valve on just incase and still the same, only water coming from lockshield side, should prob mention that the feed pipe is also cold and no water in the pipe that feeds the radiator ??????

hi, ive take the rad off the wall, there is water coming out of the lockshield valve but nothing coming out of the trv valve, do you have any suggestions, all other rads are ok. thanks

yes ive done that and the pipes are still cold, would taking the rad off then opening up the valves help ?

ive got a combi boiler, the hot water for the bath goes tepid after only filling a third of the way, the rest of the water in the house is fine, i have a 28kw boiler and it feeds 9 rads, any ideas what prob is ??

it's just an over the sink water heater that holds 7 litres of water, it's for doing the dishes etc, didn't think it was a complicated as pressure relief valves and pressure reducing valves etc ??? cheers

my toilet cistern, bath and basin cold taps run off the cold storage tank in the loft, i am not gettig any water through these taps,but the hot taps and the kitchen taps are all fine, does anyone have any suggestions how to fix this problem ??? thanks
