Scantronic 9800 entry and exit zones.

Thanks for the replies. Forgive me if I don't use the correct terminology in my reply below. All my doors have contacts. I inherited the system when the house was purchased. Up to now it has operated without problem so previously I have not investigated changes. At present it has zone 1...

Confusion - modulating boilers vs modulating controllers

The last post was some time ago but modulation has moved on? I am replacing my 25 year old boiler. I will retain the present system with vented hot water cylinder. I have looked at various controls but am still a little confused. I am considering using the Honeywell Evohome controls. This is a...

    DULUX VOC paint colours

Same problem for me. I have had new cream upvc window frames fitted. I conformed the Ral colour of them so that I could paint the sills and other misc junction parts the same colour. When the paint was going on it looked slightly lighter, I assumed it would dry darker - it hasn't. If Dulux...

    scantronic 9825 keypad

Oasis Thanks for your post. Stripped it down, cleaned it, now working without problem! For others removing the circuit board - remove the 2 phillips screws and the terminal connection screws before removing board from the casing. Oasis - thanks again and have a happy new year.

    scantronic 9825 keypad

Hope someone will be able to help? The 9825 is a remote keypad where the keys are playing up! How do you gain access to the inside so I can take a look inside or unwire it for possible replacement with another one? There is no obvious means of getting inside and I don't want to damage it...

Karndean / Amtico floor damaged surface methonol drips

mattysupra thanks for your follow on. I will try another few "local" coats to see the effect. I don't have any spare tiles but I thing the Karndean Moonstone is still current. So I will probably be able to get some. If I replace just a few can the "worn" v "new" tile difference be camouflaged?

Karndean / Amtico floor damaged surface methonol drips

Petest67 and Mattysupra thank you very much for your posts. I have tried the stripper and surface dressing treatment. The drips are still visible. This is because the surface finish of the floor at the drips is matt whereas the rest of the floor is "satin". Any more ideas?

Karndean / Amtico floor damaged surface methonol drips

Can anybody help? I fly model planes and by mistake fuel drips damaged the surface of my kitchen floor. The drips have damaged the polyurathane layer of the tiles and are easily seen. They are not deep but are "more" matt finish than the rest of the surface which shows them up when viewed...
