    No ! but the continuity of of the earth conductors must be made, a suitable terminal for this would be better than a choc block! Often wonder why they dont provide them on some dryliners??

    Why not run the swa in a length of pvc conduit? then if needs be you can remove/replace the cable. :wink:

    Yes, I would guess that two bare earths from the 2.5mm twin cables are both in the g/y sleeving, and that the second eatrh cable is supplementry bonding.

    Are you sure it supplementary bonding ? and that the sparky wasn't installing a 10mm equipotential conductor for a PME? As for connecting it into a socket ? who knows :?:

    Good point but the only way of finding out, is a visual inspection and of course via earth loop impeadence test.
