very good point but in a 2 gang socket if it is 13amp whay can you plug 2 things in??what about in your front room where you whould have a tv with 13a fuse and say stereo with 13a thanx

in the old con/unit put a 50amp breaker in run 10mm from that into the new con/unit put sockets on 32amp? and lights on ???? 6anp are 10amp

i want to put a new 2 way con/unit in my conservatory to feed sockets and lights (very big conservatory) but what size cable can i run 6mm? its only havin a 32amp for sockets and 16 for lights thanx

i have the new brown regs book and the old blue on-site guild. i got told when makin a hole for the cables it had to be i size so u cant fit fingers in are something

the guild also says anyt socket outlet should be 150mm away from a cooker hob. as from under a sink i would say if you have to have a socket under a sink for a dishwasher are whatever i would keep it away from the waste pipe, bends and anything else on them lines

i want to put a switch fuse in a cupboard to power a fan above my cooker but i will need power to it, in the cupboard there is a cooker switch can i spar off that with 2.5mm in to switch fuse then 1.5mm to the fan???
