spar off?

i want to put a switch fuse in a cupboard to power a fan above my cooker but i will need power to it, in the cupboard there is a cooker switch can i spar off that with 2.5mm in to switch fuse then 1.5mm to the fan???

You should use the same size cable as the cooker circuit, not 2.5mm² to go to the FCU (Fused Connection Unit - a switch-fuse is something else:

)

After the FCU 1.5mm² or 1mm² will be fine.
