    Just had a part glazed door dipped, now i wanna paint it. Its a pine panel door, only the top half is glazed, it must be very old, wood doesnt look to good in places, small holes, chips, damage, wood shavings..., Also evidence of filler from what must have been a previous restoration...

    Sorry the response has been so long, had set my mind on the bonding down method, but now as fitting is imminent, having second thoughts.... The room measures about 4.5m x 4.5m, new T&G boards will be laid onto pine floorboards which are 170mm wide. New T&G boards are 150mm wide and 19mm thick.

    About to install a real wood floor on a sub floor I'm really concerned in case it has to come back up for any reason. Carpenter say glueing it down is the way forward. Gas main is under there, central heating and wiring. Is there a preferred method, making it easier to pull back up...
