Thanks for your input, BUT after looking into it im going with good old copper. (that will put a smile on Kevs face), 1. Its cheeper than plastic. 2. The pump instructions say to keep all bends/joins 'as free flowing as possible' Why do people use plastic pipe? I can see it would have...

    Service valves

Hi all, Im moving a towel rail in the bath room, and also running another radiator off it. It looks like the towel rail was fitted after the C/H system because the pipes come from the boiler upto the tank and they (who ever THEY are), fitted this rail to these pipes. The problem i have is the...

What is it with 22mm pipe

Ahh. i c. That maybe why it seems to have a mind of its own. It comes off and on when when it wants. There don't seem to be a bleed valve either, is this normal? Also, as its not on the c/h system, does that mean i don't need to drain the c/h at all. Will i be able to move it when i turn the...

    Down lighters

Thanks, no, its not lathe & plaster so thats no problem, And they are mains voltage. The thought about sticking them in was because i didn't know if the springs are man enough, and because they are mains voltage and the bulb come out from the bottom i shouldn't need to remove them. What do you...
