Is it dangerous or against regulations for a meter box door to be left open? Next doors is broken and bangs against my wall when windy waking us up, I've fixed it a few times now but they know it's annoying us so undo my work.

i have to bleed my system every 6+ mnths or so, there's no inhibitor in & i'm in the process of adding a new rad so will flush the system with cold water then add inhibitor, do you think this is the problem or should i look elsewhere?

mines got none in!!!! when i got the house 12 years ago i changed a few rads & consequently flushed the system (combi) quite a few times, not since though BUT i am in the process of altering again so will add some this time

i'm in the process of fitting a new bathroom, the combi boiler is in there aswell & the pipes (cold feed, hot & 22mm flow / return) are above the floorboards. it's not a major thing, i just wanna clean the place up & bury them. SO, is it ok to cut the pipes under the boiler & join to something...

could i have used too much adhesive? like i said the boards have a layer, ufh in its own then tiles... the floor's raised in total around 1 1/2" what grout + additive do you recommend?

flatter than a witche's teet... same flexible adhesive as used for the tiles, gave it a good week or 2 before tiling,

concrete floor, insulation boards, ufh, tiles. floor was sound prior to laying.

yeah! took it easy with the ufh, didnt butter the backs but mixed the adh smooth and put plenty down, there is a slight hollow sound in areas, when tapping but the tiles are still firmly fixed. am thinking of leaving them till they become a problem, dont want to crack them while lifting...

dunno, but got it off a guy i know in the trade who supplied my kitchen and sells tiles, (usually fits both) , i have yet to ask him what he thinks.

i've just fitted mine ready to treat with tung oil and now after reading this i'll have to take them off to treat the underside..... do they need sealing ? how many coats underneath ? and how many on top before it's useable?
