engieered oak onto concrete

i have read a few posts on this topic and think i'm ready to have a go...
can anyone run me through the procedure for this job ?
at present i've been told to :-
1/ PVA the concrete
2/ Visqueen the area with a 6" taped overlap raising at the walls
3/ 4mm hardboard base taped at edges
4/ underlay (fiber board type)
5/ lay flooring glueing t&g
anything else please advise.

Could you give the measurements of your wood floor? (thickness, width and length of boards)

IMHO your planning to do too many steps. Is your concrete floor level, dry and of good quality?
 
floor is fairly good. one doorway needs attention but i think that's it.
lookin at tuscan engineered in 180mm width / 14mm thick, don't know precise length, but guessing 1.5 - 2m
 
Then why don't you simply use a combi-underlayment (DPM + sound-insulation) and continue straight with step 5 ;)
