The panels i've seen Richard are the same size as the 2 sides of the shower that go against the wall ( Quadrant enclosure ) you get a sealing strip for in the corner and to seal to the tray..You put them up over the tiles...But i'm leaning towards your view that my nice big tiles will look...

I am just about to brick an outside doorway up in my sons house..It is a circa 1870's end terrace, consequently it has not got a conventional concrete foundation...We have dug the old doorstep out today and removed the layers of bricks and soft lime mortar that made the foundation ,if you can...

we put a log burner in my sons house last year. We tiled in the opening with red quarry tiles fixed with cement based adhesive ( not the ready mixed stuff )..It throws out a terrific heat and up to now no tiles have moved.It still needs the surround sorting but its the best thing since sliced...
