Hi i am in the process of changing all my upstairs door frames and doors after putting up with them being out of plumb and square for 30 years...I have fitted new softwood 30 x 78 inch frames plumb and checked square , and now i want to hang my new oak veneer doors. The doors are pre finished with 2 coats of laquer, and will hopefully only need to be trimmed for height..So my questions are what are the steps to hang them correctly myself.I.E.position of hinges and door in frame etc....The weight of the doors is 24kgs, will 2 hinges be plenty? They are polished chrome and fairly substantial..All help is greatly appreciated..I apologise if this has been covered elsewhere...Bill
