    The above comments are correct all i can add is as an electrician who works on a lot of appliances it is often worth stripping the core back to the copper and the bend it back on itself so that it fully fills the terminal this way your sure of a tight connection.

    You can change the socket legally under part p and can also cheaply buy a martindale plug in tested that will check alls ok for you.

    Does anyone know if there is a faulty output from the board ie fan motor could this stop the board giving a signal to tge lighting display or would it error code/ take out the control fuse. Am in tge process of waiting for combustion chamber approvement but am looking at the boiler sunday. thanks

    Ive been told on another forum this is a common fault caused by a failure on the pcb does this seem likely, as i will go and get one therwise, thanks jim
