The above comments are correct all i can add is as an electrician who works on a lot of appliances it is often worth stripping the core back to the copper and the bend it back on itself so that it fully fills the terminal this way your sure of a tight connection.

Depending on the crimp tool used that can result is a joint that fails over time.

If the crimp tool does not force the crimp tube down between the conductors then over time the copper will deform into the voids and the pressure between crimp tube and copper will reduce. This may compromise the quality of the joint.
