Well at least you're prepared to have a go at answering the original question, even if you do seem reluctant to accept that there are NO fixings/fittings supplied with the cabinet. It is an Ikea unit. They don't supply fixings.
Contrary to the nonsense posted by some on here, hollow wall...
No, the problem is that there are far too many people on this site who are incapable of giving a simple answer to a simple question. If you don't have an answer then don't respond, it's not complicated.
Anyone would think i'd posted the original question in a foreign language. I clearly stated that i had 'encountered a stud partition directly in line with the position i had planned to fit the hollow wall anchor' and yet you are asking me whether i've 'encountered a stud directly behind the...
May i respectfully suggest that if you have difficulty reading the post properly perhaps you shouldn't bother posting a reply. What's the point in giving your 'advice' for free if that advice is totally irrelevant? I specifically asked whether there was any particular screw which would do the...
Can't use washers either because the cabinet already has it's own adjustable fittings which act like washers.
The question i really need to answer is whether a simple screw will be strong enough to support one corner of the wall cabinet if the other corner is supported by a hollow wall...
I'm fitting a corner wall cabinet in the kitchen and have encountered a stud partition directly in line with the position i had planned to fit the hollow wall anchor.

My Grundfoss central heating pump is hot even when the timer is switched off and the pipes into and out of the pump have long since cooled down. If i run a bath the pump cools down almost immediately. Any ideas?
Well pardon me for not being psychic Mr. Sensitive!
It might well have been the correct response but without the detail you've just provided it was completely and utterly pointless.
My current extractor fan above the hob in the kitchen is plugged into a socket which sits above the fan.
However i need to move the extractor fan further up the wall and this means that it will now clash with the plug socket.
Would an electrician be able to remove the plug socket and...
Does anyone know whether it's possible to purchase standard white plastic vent covers like these in any size other than 9" x 6"?
I've looked in B&Q, Wickes and Homebase and none of them do anything wider than 9". I need at least 10" x 6".
I'm currently repairing the floor of the cupboard where the water tanks are situated. The cement floor has been excavated around the pipes:

I'd like to fill this cavity in order to level off the floor, so can i use expanding...
