now i"m not trying to tell you how to suck eggs but seriously how many things can be wrong with a boiler? there must be a sequence of tests and if the fault is found i e first hr engineers expect at least £60 / £70 then to fit the part which lets say changing pcb board or pressure sw what...

yeah because i have a merc!!!!!!!!! real world live in it!!!! £25ph cash if you work a 8hr day £200 do the math it isn"t a client fault if he hasn"t enought faults to fix in a day but i think in this day and age £50 a hr is pathetic don"t think john terry on that!!!!!!!

listen pal i"ve paid for 2 so called rgi to have a look and it"s not been fixed just becausethere doesn"t seem to be any decent gas (engineers) around that"s noit my fault as a customer it"s all about trust no wonder people have a look themselves and try and fix it.........

i wasn"t trying to be funny just wondered if that was my fault what cold go wrong on a sensor to make the boiler shut down and fire up.........

ok so had 2 gas safe engineers round as advised by this forum........no joy couldn"t fix it..........i started tinkering about checked pump ,aps,fan,microswitch,........so i removed the pemp sensor but still had electricial connection attached bingo constant hot water boiler doesn"t shut...

ok so had 2 gas safe lads round they couldn"t fix my boiler.........little bit of tinkering around with pump and that............just unscrewed temp sensor leaving crimp connected boiler working perfect screw sensor back in boiler stop n starts have i found the fault?????????

the boiler is firing up but not staying on for the duration it should i.e room stat calling for heat but boiler not firing but then it will lots of relay clicking starting stopping shower left to run boiler fires up hot water then cold boiler dies then fires again no continuity

if it is that manual just says change pcb lead looks fine electrode is making connection to ignite i"m wondering if there is some type of blockage..........looking like gas safe no..3

so another so called gas safe engineer appeared at my door £25ph not bothered as long as he fixes it............1 hr passes dunno mate done everything i can think of..........that involved blowing into the hoses pulling the crimp of the safety thermostat new pcb mate i"ll do it for £180 cash...

i will but like taking your car to the garage you just want to be sure that your not getting done over like i have been last week of a so called engineer

don" think it"s the diaphragm just noticed that the pin activites the micro switch which sets the pump running fan kicks in boiler fires up but sadly 15secs later shuts down same on the dhw.........any suggestions could there be blockage somewhere
