Hi thanks for your reply, I spoke to Friedland bell chime suppliers they said that I could use a 12v 1.5a Transformer as the 12v 2a was out of stock, I have now replaced the 8v 1a with the 12v 1.5a and connected new bell chime in dinning room to the existing chime in the lounge and it works...

Hi everyone, Job done, replaced transformer from 8v 1amp to 12v 1.5 amp on consumer unit drilled 3 walls threaded bell wire from original bell chime to additional bell chime in dining room and connected. It works a treat.Thank you.

Unfortunatly the new transformer is at the post office it was delivered today while I was out, I will write tomorrow. Thank you

Thanks again, yes i spoke to friedland supplier and he said i needed the 12v 2a (e3539n) unfortunatly its out of stock but he said while I was only using two chimes a 12v 1.5a (e3538n) would be ok.I need to take the 8v 1a transformer off the din rail and replace it with the 12v 1.5a transformer...

Thank you for your reply, no not replacing the bell but adding an extra bell chime and the 8v 1a isn't adequate in the cu so bought 12v 1.5a as advised to replace it

Hi Tony, sorry I have taken so long to reply I have been in touch with Mysons and was waiting for a reply before thanking you for your advise, well Mysons have sent me 2 replacement valves and have sent one of my faulty valves to be inspected there initial reaction is a fault with the moulding...

Don't know how to check flow temp Tony, but would try if it can be done by Odd Jobber. Thanks again.

Hi again Tony, I have a Potterton 30 HE condensing comband the max output is 29.4 kw, with this myson trv being the second to melt I thought of taking it back to plumbers merchant in case its a bad batch if it's not how about replacing it with a Drayton trv 4? All I have done Tony is exchange the head of the Myson TRV and twice it as melted on the same rad, I have changed the head on 3 other rads in the house and had no problem. Thanks for replying

No the on off is an up and down motion (chrome ) the sound is like gushing water very loud. I have a combi condensing boiler, the noise only comes when kitchen cold tap turned on no other cold taps in the house make a noise.Please can you help?

I have a Blanco mixer tap in the kitchen when we turn the cold on it is very noisy the hot water is fine, can any one help please?

Thank you for your reply Tony, the reason for my question on changing to another make of TRV is the Myson contract heads I have replaced on one of my radiators has melted twice on the plastic thread,is this due to being bottom of the myson range?

I have Myson contract TRVs fitted and i have replace one or two heads recently, is it possible to fit another make ie Peglar Terrier TRV head without changing the body angle valves, not to keen on draining system or does each make fit its own?
