Is it the same size as the one you are replacing?
Are the connection requirements the same?

Unfortunatly the new transformer is at the post office it was delivered today while I was out, I will write tomorrow. Thank you

Hi everyone, Job done, replaced transformer from 8v 1amp to 12v 1.5 amp on consumer unit drilled 3 walls threaded bell wire from original bell chime to additional bell chime in dining room and connected. It works a treat.Thank you.Why, oh why, did you start a NEW topic.????????????
