Is it straight forward changing a 8v 1a transformer on a din rail to a 12v 1.5a transformer in consumer unit

Is it the same size as the one you are replacing?

Are the connection requirements the same?

Is the existing one connected properly?

Unfortunatly the new transformer is at the post office it was delivered today while I was out, I will write tomorrow. Thank you

Hi everyone, Job done, replaced transformer from 8v 1amp to 12v 1.5 amp on consumer unit drilled 3 walls threaded bell wire from original bell chime to additional bell chime in dining room and connected. It works a treat.Thank you.
