The house was built in the 60's, I replaced the windows about 5 years ago. I have managed to get a picture of the outside.

I have lived in this house for over 20 years now and there has always been a very minor crack there. If it was subsidance wouldnt the crack run from the bottom of the house, this one is only upstairs and only on the internal wall.

I have recently had a new shower installed and I am having problems getting water through it. The plumber that installed it tells me that the water tank in the loft needs to be raised as there is only about 2' distance between the tank and the shower head. Can anyone verify this is the case

A plumber has just tiled my bathroom, it looks great except the grouting between the floor tiles keeps crumbling. He tells me that it could be because of the porcelain floor tiles being layed onto a wooden floor. He has attempted again using a plastisiser in the mix but it has happened again...

You will need to make an official complaint preferably in writing to the environmental health agency of your local council. Make sure that you keep any correspondance from them, you may need this later if you are still unsuccesful. Let me know how you get on, I may be able to advise you further
