How to wire a dimmer switch

I need to replace my old double dimmer switch with a new one, however, the wiring of the old switch is different to the new one, can anyone give some adviceplease

There are currently two red wires going to L1 terminals, and a link wire joining them together. You don't need the link wire any more; put both of those red wires in the new switch's central L terminal.

Put the yellow wire that's currently connected to a terminal with a ~ symbol in one of the new switch's ~1 terminals.

Put the red wire that's currently connected to a terminal with a ~ symbol in the new switch's other ~1 terminal.

BEFORE YOU START, make sure you can identify which red wire is which!

Don't touch the blue and black wires in the terminal block.

Can I see an earth terminal of the left hand side of the new switch? It's not very clear.
 
Yes there is an earth wire, I take it that I just connect that as normal, thanks for all you help

Interesting, I've never seen a double switch with a shared common before, convenient at times, but limits your wiring options somewhat!
