I'm not an expert, but that's exactly the set up I had when my combi was installed. Assuming the guy new what he was doing, he didn't bat an eyelid. I have since ripped out the shower though (re-doing bathroom)

From memory ours has a plastic knob that only needs a quarter turn to turn off the water. Our old place had meter, but it had a conventional stopcock :? Better grab a torch :wink:

Hi! Is the paint actually on the widow frame itself, of is there any plastic trim between the window frame and the sil? You could consider finding a local double glazing man and seeing if he could replace the trim. The guy who fitted ours said he would replace ours when we redecorate.

Ours is currently in the hall. Is this still the current thinking? I recall someone telling me (probably in the pub :lol: ) that it is best to have is in the 'main living space. Ours is now wireless so no proble to move it. Thanks Mark
