can you fit a room stat at the top of the stairs. the house i have moved into does not have a room stat fitted.when i open front door i have a rad fitted with trv.straight in front is stairs going up to bedrooms.ther is not much room at the bottom of stairs for room stat.would this be ok.

trying to run flow and return pipes to rad which is 700long by 2000 high. checked stelrad website and it shows 4 connections on bottom of rad? does anyone know what the two middle connections are for
