We asked our plumber to chase some pipes into the wall in preparation for redecoration. I think it is a gas pipe and a condensate pipe. I have attached an image and just wanted to check that it is all above board and safe to chase a gas pipe as he has done surrounded by some sort of foam...

Well the roofers have left, and our carpenter is coming past today to look at finishing up the interior so I guess we'll know more then and I am confident he will comment if he thinks there is an issue with the internal support! Here is a pic from the outside, looks ok to me but what do I know...

Thanks SFK - I have given my carpenter/decorator a call and he has said it's something they can do for us so guess it's not ideal but its a solution!
