    I did go with Hive, very easy installation if you have the WR1 receiver, unscrew the 2 small screws on the bottom of the receiver, lift off the receiver and replace with the hive receiver... job done

    Sorry, my bad, yes the switches are earthed... I hadn't fully removed the facias and the earth wasn't visible, once removed to replace it was clear as day! That's one problem down!
