    no point over spending on pressure gauge, it simple kit, just buy cheaper one... I agree you can get allot of kit cheap and tidy i.e screw drivers, pliers, mats, but get what you pay for with slicers, power tools and blow torch.

    my guess, Sounds like thermal cut out devise (OH Thermocoupler) ...baxi will have the boiler under warranty for 1st yr min, so it likely the company who fitted it, will contact baxi (baxi/main) to fix...call them out...
